Raised in Charlotte and now the head coach at Charlotte is a rare experience in college baseball.
Robert Woodard talks about growing up loving baseball, basketball, and chess!
He talked about going to prospect camps and eventually getting an offer from UNC.
During this career he was drafted twice and went to two college world series.
He also played three summers in the cape.
He played three years of minor league baseball with the San Diego Padres.
After college he coached at UNC, UNCW, Virginia Tech, and UNC before taking over at Charlotte in 2019.
